At Laura Daphne, we embrace the idea of making with intention. By dedicating time to create with care and thoughtfulness, we aspire to inject creativity and alternative ways of making into our production. From design, production to packaging we are taking steps to utilise pre-existing waste, and reduce additional waste made.

A few extra creative steps we take to utilise what we have and reduce waste in our production.
Handmade Seed Paper
All of our business cards, thank you cards, intention/ crystal meaning cards used alongside our designs are all made with our very own hands. Recycling paper from friends and whanau's whares, we break it down and make a mixture with flower seeds to create new paper - seed paper -designed to be planted when no longer needed, to grow into something new.

Gift Wrapping
Our orders are thoughtfully giftwrapped with care and consideration. You'll receive your jewels tucked safely inside jewellery boxes made from 100% recycled boxboard, wrapped in repurposed fabric scraps which can be saved/reused instead of disposable tissue paper! Lastly decoratively tied with fabric ribbons made from strips of scraps as an alternative to synthetic ribbon. Remember to save and reuse the materials from your orders. Ethical Gemstones
To ensure genuine and quality gemstones we are a bit picky with where we source our stones from! Only purchasing from reputable New Zealand stores where we can see and hold the gemstones before purchasing. Wholesalers such as Crystal Light are extremely transparent with their sources, and share info about the mines where they receive their crystals from! Follow this link for images & info!
